Let’s be honest… AI isn’t going anywhere.
It’s one of those moments in our industry where you either lean into it and figure it out, or you get left behind watching everyone else move forward. And at GD Media, that’s just not how we operate. We’ve always been about staying ahead of the curve – whether that’s new camera tech, drones, VR, or now… AI-generated video.
So yeah, we’ve fully embraced it.
Over the past few months, we’ve been putting proper time into learning how AI video tools actually work in the real world – not just the flashy stuff you see online, but how it can genuinely add value to what we already do for our clients across Somerset, Devon and further afield.
We’re now actively honing our skills using the Higgsfield platform, which gives us access to some of the leading AI video generation tools out there, like Nano Banana, Kling and Seedance. Each one has its own strengths, quirks and creative potential, and we’re getting hands-on with all of them so we can offer something that’s not just “cool”… but actually useful.
Rather than starting from scratch, we’ve been experimenting with our own archive footage from real projects and real shoots. That way, we’re not just playing; we’re building something that fits properly with professional videography workflows. It’s all about taking something real and adding an extra cinematic, almost film-like layer using AI.
And that’s the key thing here. It’s not about replacing what we do; it’s about enhancing it.
AI video generation isn’t going to replace proper storytelling, good lighting, or knowing how to capture a moment. But what it can do is open up creative options that simply weren’t possible (or affordable) before. It gives businesses a way to elevate their content, stand out online, and tell their story in a more engaging way.
