We’ve just come off the back of a really enjoyable (and let’s be honest… slightly chaotic!) shoot working with Emile et Rose, capturing both photography and videography content in Somerset and the South West UK for their upcoming Autumn/Winter 2026 collection.
And it’s one of those projects where you walk away thinking, that was brilliant… but also, how did we actually pull that off?
A Sneak Peek (Because That’s All We Can Show… For Now)
Now, before we go any further—full transparency—we can’t show you the final images just yet. They’re under wraps ready for the official launch (which is always the exciting bit for brands like this).
But we didn’t want to leave you hanging, so we’ve included a few teaser-style shots here to give you a feel for the look, the tone, and the overall vibe we were going for.
Not Your Average Shoot Day…
Working with babies and infants is a completely different game compared to most commercial shoots.
There’s no strict schedule. No “one more take.” No guarantees.
If they’re happy—you’re winning. If they’re tired, hungry, or just not feeling it… you adapt, quickly.
We had moments where everything lined up perfectly—lighting, composition, expression—and then just as quickly, it was gone. That’s the nature of it. You’ve got to stay switched on, ready to capture those little windows when everything comes together.
And to be fair, sometimes it can all get a bit much for the little ones. Bright lights, new faces, outfit changes—it’s a lot. So a big part of what we do in these situations is keeping things calm, relaxed, and as natural as possible.
Some of the best shots? They came in those unscripted moments—when we stepped back, gave them space, and just let things happen.
Building Content That Actually Works
This wasn’t just about grabbing a few nice photos.
We were brought in to create a full set of high-quality photography and videography content that Emile et Rose can use across their website, social media, and marketing campaigns for the new collection.
That means thinking beyond a single image—looking at how everything fits together as a content library that supports the brand long-term.
It’s something we do a lot here at GD Media—especially for businesses across Somerset and the wider South-West UK – helping them get the most out of every shoot.
Why These Shoots Matter
For a brand like Emile et Rose, it’s all about storytelling.
It’s not just the clothing—it’s the feeling behind it. Comfort, quality, care… and those little moments that parents connect with instantly.
That’s what we’re trying to capture. Not something overly staged or forced—but something real.
Want to See More?
If you like the look of what’s coming (and trust us, it’s going to be a lovely collection), it’s well worth heading over to Emile et Rose to explore their current range—and keep an eye out for the Autumn/Winter 2026 launch when it drops.
And if you’re a business looking for photography and videography services in Somerset, the South-West, or anywhere across the UK, and want content that feels natural, engaging, and actually works—feel free to get in touch.
We’ll bring the cameras… you just bring the idea.
